Tell Me All Your Secrets

Tell me all your secrets

Lie with a solemn face

Lie with sad eyes under sleep-heavy lids.

Make up those secrets you wish you had.

Tell me all those that weren’t yours to start with.

Tell me love.

Tell me hate.

Tell me the Earth was flat when you first learned to walk,

Turned round just so I could fall

After every step taken to get to you.

Tell me secrets, big and small.

About her.

About him.

About yourself and I.

Tell me all you have.

Tell me what you never were,

What you show,

What you are.

Tell me all your secrets.

Tell me all you hide

Even from yourself.

Break, Crush, Blow.

by Soyismyhomeboy @ Deviant Art

I want to break hearts

crush them with the pointed heels of my red-like-sin shoes.

A million into a million pieces, I’ll break,

keep them in a bag,

the finest leather with a skull-head clasp.

And everyday I’ll take one shard,

turn it to powder, clenched in my fist.

I’ll blow the dust over the wailing ocean,

hoping a little love would calm it.

The Wish – Not Too Late, I Hope

Can I curse myself or can I curse myself.

It’s someones birthday today and even though I remembered all about it till yesterday, dawn came and my mind became a clean slate.

So a wish is in order, and if I can’t do it through a poem, then what can I do it through? So here you go, you ace photographer, a birthday wish crafted specially for you:

Break the bottle,

let it flow, take a glass

touch it to your lips –

cold, so cold

but just yours to taste.

Stare the sun right in the eye,

but welcome it, smile at it,

it dawned on you,

brighter than ever in the year this morning,

bright as it is on this time of the year, every year.

Every single year.

Say the words, over and over,

the world is yours, the world is yours.

You make it run, yes you do,

just simply by being you.

And now that you’re an year older,

an year wiser, an year smarter,

look back and smile

at the mistakes you made,

the rights you did,

the wrongs you did.

Smile, don’t you dare let those muscles droop.

It’s your day.

And all that is what brought you to it.

Not one of my good ones, but hell, it’s for you. Stay happy You.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Things To Do Before You Die…

Dot the night sky with fiery lanterns

Let red rule the expanse for a little while.

Sit, with feet dangling in the quick sand pit.

Let your toes be sucked in -

rip them out.

Live a second life,

hold your first for ransom -

take what you want, then kill it.

Bring a suitcase, fill it with rocks -

lug it around, leave it in a motel room,

the cheap kind -

cigarette burned carpets.

Light the world on fire,

get jailed for arson, burn down a falling building.

Think bigger, sin bigger.

I’ll do that too.

We’ll bring out the worst in us.

We’ll live.

Not Quite (The Meeting)

It was quiet

All I could hear was the wind

Whizzing past my ears

Through my hair

That fanned around,

Peacock feathers,

Up, down, in a crazy dance.

I saw you,

Sitting quiet,

Staring at the fingers

That would be mine to hold.

Soon,

But not quite.

Dressed in black,

You sat, a statue,

Never looking up,

Though I knew you wanted to.

I, in white,

Looked at you,

At the person I knew

Since ever so long

But not quite.

Not at all.

You felt my stare,

I saw a smile forming

I took it as a sign to look away,

I smiled

We shared the moment.

The first for us.

But not quite.
